Wroclaw

Wrocław, the capital of the Lower Silesia, is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. Located at the foot of the Sudeten mountains, at the Oder river, crossed with its numerous tributaries and channels, is an exceptional city of twelve islands and over one hundred bridges.

The walls of the city are a silent witness of its stormy history. The Ostrów Tumski resembles the times of the early Middle Ages –you will find there one of the most beautiful complexes of architecture in Europe, still in excellent state. Other monument from this period, the Wrocław town hall, is ranked among the most wonderful Gothic buildings in the Centre of Europe. Furthermore, in Wrocław you will see ones of the biggest baroque interiors which remained until our times. The Leopoldyńska Hall located in the eighteenth-century building of the University will then certainly catch your attention.

The history of Wroclaw is constantly broadened and enriched with prestigious scientific and cultural events. Besides, there is also the famous Polish hospitality and openness of this city. Thus, everyone, who arrives here , will certainly see and experience something interesting, no matter if he spends here just a few hours or a few days...
